Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence corporate governance, earnings management and company size have on firm value by using company age as a control variable. The research variables are Corporate Governance (X1), Profit Management (X2), Company Size (X3), Firm Value (Y) and Company Age (Z). The method used for determining the sample is purposive sampling with analysis methods using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests and multiple regression of panel data. The data tested in the study were 43 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The results showed 1) Corporate Governance has a positive and insignificant effect on Firm Value. 2) Earnings Management has a negative and significant effect on Firm Value, 3) Company Size has a negative and insignificant effect on Firm Value, 4) Corporate Governance, Earnings Management and Company Size simultaneously have a significant effect on Firm Value which means a simultaneous significant effect on Firm Value with Company age as a control variable, 5) company age as a control variable has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Finally, the authors suggest that the company is expected to increase profit, so the company will generate higher profits. And can increase the size of the company so that the company can measure a company. Keywords: Corporate Governance, Earnings Management, Company Size, Company Value and Company Age.
