Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of profitability, liquidity and ownership control on capital structure in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2016-2018 period. The research sample was selected using purposive sampling involving as many as 44 manufacturing companies with a research period of 3 years from 2016 to 2018. The results of this study conclude that there is a negative and significant effect between profitability on capital structure in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, related to the negative and significant influence between Liquidity on Capital Structure in Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, providing a positive and significant influence between Ownership Control on Capital Structure in Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, has a significant and significant influence between Profitability, Liquidity and Ownership Control on the Capital Structure of Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
