Abstract

ABSTRACT THE RELATIONSHIP OF SCHOOL WELL-BEING WITH ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION IN CLASS XI STUDENTS OF SMA XAVERIUS BUKITTINGGI This study aims to see whether there is a relationship between school well-bing and achievement motivation in class XI SMA Xaverius Bukittinggi. The independent variable in this study is School Well-Being, while the dependent variable in this study is Achievement Motivation. The measuring instrument used in this study is the School Well-Being scale and the Achievement Motivation scale. The sampling technique in this study is non-probability sampling, which is a sampling technique that does not provide the same opportunity/opportunity for each element or member of the population to be selected as a sample. The non-probability sampling technique used is the saturated sampling technique. The sample in this study were students of class XI SMA Xaverius Bukittinggi, amounting to 46 people. The test results show that the validity coefficient of School Well-being moves from 0.300 to 0.803, while the reliability coefficient is 0.916. And the validity coefficient on Achievement Motivation moves from 0.345 to 0.766 while the reliability coefficient is 0.938. Based on data analysis, obtained a correlation of 0.467 with a significance level of 0.001 which means the hypothesis is accepted. This shows that there is a significant relationship between School Well-being and Achievement Motivation in Class XI High School Students Xaverius Bukittinggi. With the effective contribution of School Well-being with Achievement Motivation in Class XI SMA Xaverius Bukittinggi students by 22%. Keywords: School Well-being, Achievement Motivation, Students
