Abstract

ABSTRACT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELF REGULATION AND STRESS WITH A FINAL PROJECT IN AKPER KESDAM I / BB PADANG STUDENTS Based on the results of the Product Moment (Pearson) correlation test carried out with the help of IBM SPSS 21, where the level of significance (α) is 0.01, because the value (p) sig 0.000<0.01 with the correlation value (r) = -0.603 then the hypothesis received. These results indicate that there is a significant relationship between self-regulation and student stress in facing the final task of the I / BB Padang health service in a negative direction. The existence of this negative relationship means that the better the self regulation, the lower the student's stress in facing the final project. Vice versa, the less good self regulation, the higher the student's stress in facing the final project. The amount of effective contribution of self-regulation to the stress of students facing the final project was 36% and 64%. This means that self-regulation with stress in students facing final assignments contributed 36% while 64% was influenced by other factors, these other factors included environment, physical, individual, group, organization. Through the results of data processing, it can be seen that students with poor self regulation are in the 18% category, the good enough category is 69% and the good category is 12%. Whereas for the stress variable of students facing the final project, it was found that students who were in the low category were 16%, the medium category was 75% and the high category was 9%.
