Abstract

Pandemic Covid-19 has a huge impact in various sectors. Among them are the education sector, where teachers and students are required to study online using learning media. But not all schools have an e-learning application as a online learning medium during this Covid-19 pandemic period. One of them is SMKN 3 Padang, who does not have an e-learning application to support the learning process. The purpose of this study was to develop and implement e-Learning applications as online learning media in students of SMK 3 Padang. The e-learning application is expected to be useful for SMK 3 Padang schools as a medium in delivering learning materials and online assignments to students. E-Learning for students as learning media that can increase learning motivation and facilitate the process of learning individually. E-Learning for teachers will be easier to deliver material materials and student duties so that the learning method will be more varied. The method used in the design of the e-learning system is the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a waterfall model and its system development tool using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method. The results of this study are e-learning applications as learning media that will facilitate the learning process in SMK Negeri 3 Padang and facilitate data storage using a database in making clear and accurate value reports.
