Abstract
This study aims to determine the board's involvement in company performance, where the board uses family variables as the board of directors, the gender and age of the board of directors. The sample in this study amounted to 203 companies listed on the Stock Exchange using software panel data analysis (eviews). The results showed that the family as a member of the board of directors had a positive and significant effect on the company's performance. Gender is negative and significant on company performance. The board of directors' age is negative and insignificant on company's performance. For company age control variables and company size, it has a positive and significant impact on company performance.
